The MET Shelter Youth is designed for young cyclists who want to explore trails with confidence. Inspired by adult mountain helmets, it combines enhanced protection at the back of the head, excellent ventilation, and a precise fit to support young trail, cross-country, and mountain bikers. Lightweight and comfortable, it's ready for all off-road adventures.

Protection

The Shelter Youth uses an In-Mold construction combining a polycarbonate shell and EPS foam to effectively absorb impacts. Its extended rear coverage improves protection of the occipital area, which is particularly important for mountain biking.

Fit / Integration

The Safe-T Sport retention system allows for quick and precise adjustment to ensure a secure fit on all types of terrain. Its 360° headband evenly distributes pressure to maximize comfort during long rides. Integrated supports also allow for storing sunglasses when the trail becomes more technical.

Ventilation

Thanks to its 12 ventilation openings and internal channel system, the Shelter Youth promotes efficient airflow to maintain a comfortable temperature during summer rides and long climbs.
