Maxxis Dissector TR 27.5 Tire

The Maxxis Dissector Dual EXO TR 27.5 x 2.40 is a mountain bike tire developed in collaboration with World Cup rider Troy Brosnan. Designed to offer an excellent balance of speed, traction, and control, it provides a fast roll without compromising grip in corners and during braking. Thanks to its reinforced EXO casing and Tubeless Ready design, it is perfectly suited for technical trails, aggressive trail riding, and enduro.

Construction

The Dissector uses a 60 TPI casing offering an excellent balance of flexibility and robustness. The EXO protection reinforces the sidewalls to better resist cuts and abrasion, while Tubeless Ready (TR) technology allows for riding at lower pressures to maximize traction and reduce the risk of punctures.

Performance

The Dual Compound combines a firmer central rubber compound for efficiency and longevity with grippier side knobs that improve cornering control. Its profile provides powerful braking while maintaining low rolling resistance.

Versatility

The Dissector excels on dry to mixed terrain. It can be mounted on the front or rear depending on riding style, but it is particularly appreciated as a rear tire when paired with a more aggressive tire on the front.
