With the freedom to explore several proven suspension options, Niner engineers opted to revisit a Horst-link pivot-point 4-bar system . After numerous adjustments— leverage ratio, shock length and stroke, orientation, and mounting points —they were able to replicate Niner's signature kinematics , optimized for electric assist.
The shock absorber is mounted in a trunnion position (right side up), with bearings integrated into the swingarm for smooth and precise rotation . The result? An ultra-smooth, balanced and progressive suspension, as efficient uphill as downhill, ready to take on any trail.
